Crowsnest River · Short walk

Lundbreck Falls

Lundbreck Falls puts a dramatic section of the Crowsnest River within easy reach of Highway 3. The recreation area’s two viewing platforms make it a natural pause between Crowsnest Pass and Pincher Creek.

Planning your visit

Use the signed recreation-area approach and platforms. The adjoining campground is a separate option for a longer stay; a waterfall visit does not include a campsite reservation. Keep well back from river edges and take care on wet paths.

Our take

A strong southern Alberta stop when your route already follows Highway 3. Its river setting invites a little more time than a quick roadside photograph.
