Uisge Bàn leads through hardwood forest to a waterfall enclosed by a granite gorge. The setting is intimate: the walk into the valley is as much a part of the visit as the final view.

Planning your visit
Nova Scotia Parks lists a 2.6 km return route and places the park 14.5 km north of Baddeck. Other tourism descriptions use slightly different distances; use the current park route and signs as your guide. Allow for wet ground and a careful return walk.
Our take
A good Cape Breton choice when you want a forest hike between coastal drives. Its modest distance should leave room for enjoying the gorge without rushing.
